Where to Shop for Vintage Wedding Dresses

A Lover’s Thread

Sophie started her vintage brand A Lover’s Thread with a vision for an alternative brand for the eco-conscious bride. She creates a bespoke service, tailoring vintage dresses just for you as well as adding personalised embroidery with names, dates, first dance lyrics and love symbols chosen by you

Oxfam Bridal

The very place where I purchased my own wedding dress! Oxfam have an amazing online bridal shop as well as the occasional in-store dedicated bridal area. You do need to know what you are looking for in order to sift through but there are some absolute gems out there.

Unicorn, Oxford

One of my favourite vintage shops in the UK, introduced to me by my friend Liane. Unicorn is an absolute treasure trove and is the perfect place to find something completely unique for your big day.

Vestiaire Collective

Maybe a tad obvious but Vestiaire is popular for a reason. They have a crazy amount of vintage designer clothing and accessories, meaning you are pretty much guaranteed to find something for you. Again, it may take some time and effort to sift through but totally worth it to find something completely unique.

Brides Made Modern

Brides Made Modern believe in having your wedding your way. In their own words, they '“Vow to Rework, Rewear, Repurpose”. At an amazing price point and with a passion for sustainability, it’s easy to find something completely you at Brides Made Modern.

Eveliina Vintage

Although based in New York and Miami, Eveliina Vintage is a favourite among Vogue editors and the coolest celebs and is definitely worth the trip over the pond/the customs charge. Also great for bridesmaid dresses.

Please feel free to add to the ever expanding list by popping me a message.
